Pirates and BBQ

I just saw the movie today. Keira Knightly is ravishingly beautiful in this third installment of the series. I must say the story is a little difficult to understand, what with the accent of the characters and the general background noise during certain scenes. Entertaining and action-packed, the theater was still almost full despite the movie having been showing already for a while. The ending hints of another sequel.

...Reyes' BBQ and Ineng's both specialize in barbecues. Their pork barbecues are priced almost the same. Reyes' alternate the meat and strips of fat on their sticks and you end up eating quite a share of fat. They have a tasty peanut butter sauce, though, to go with the barbecue. Ineng's, meanwhile, has chunkier portions with the traditional fat cube at the one end of the stick. It is more filling but has no accompanying sauce. Both are quite good, but I guess I'd rather go for Ineng's.

...Cavana (Chicken Variety Natural) at SM Megamall groud floor specializes in chicken dishes. I tried their Cavana Curry Rice and it was quite okay, with the right amount of spicyness. Their Lemongrass Lemon drink was also refreshing and not too sweet. Its something new and can be an option aside from the traditional fast food chicken restos.

...There is an ongoing eARTh exhibit at Greenbelt 3 until June 17. Some of the items are for sale for the benefit of the WWF and features several paintings, sculpture and mixed media work.
