Superman Returns is a good entertaining movie. It is kind of long, but there are a lot of great action sequences and special effects. The love story between Superman and Lois Lane plays out and they do have chemistry, but the twist is kind of a bit tragic. All the actors were great in their roles and Kate Bosworth is soooooo HOT! The story does not entirely mirror DC continuity, but has connections to the previous Superman movies. I was not impressed with Luthor's crime schemes in this movi, though I found Superman's powers (special effects) cool. 3 1/2 stars.
