Spiderwick
The Spiderwick Chronicles movie is based on the bestselling series of books The Spiderwick Chronicles written by Holly Black and illustrated by Tony DiTerlizzi. I haven't read the books but I was really curious about the movie so I watched it.
Strange things occur the moment the Grace family (Jared, his twin brother Simon, sister Mallory and their mom) leave New York and move into the secluded old house of their great, great uncle Arthur Spiderwick. When Jared, Simon and Mallory investigate what's happening, they uncover the truth behind the Spiderwick book and of the fantastic creatures it describes.
Rated PG, the movie is quite a visual and storytelling treat for kids and even for adults.

Totally Spies!
Alex, Clover and Sam recently had a series of shows at the Ayala Malls. Of course the show had 3 real people dressed as spies. Their relatively short show featured a lot of dancing and tumbling, to the delight of their predominantly child audiences. Would you believe that the show is actually French-produced, is set in California, and features anime-inspired cartooning?
...selected Starbucks outlets have been offering four new moderately-priced sandwiches that they serve warmed: BaconStrips, Egg & Cheese on Multigrain bagel; Hungarian Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta bread; Black Forest Ham, Egg White & Cheese on Ciabatta bread; Tomato Mozzarella & Basil on Multigrain bagel. I've tried the first three and they are all very tasty and filling. I much prefer their Ciabatta bread (perfectly toasted) compared to their Multigrain bagel which is quite hard.
This is Black Forest Ham, Egg White & Cheese (which is my favorite):
